WPL expanded the horizons of women’s cricket in India. WPL stands for Women’s Premier League (Cricket). Prize money for WPL 2024
Along with the WPL trophies, the victorious team Mumbai Indians received a cash prize of 5 crore. Delhi Capitals, who finished in second place, received a significant payout of 3 crore. The initial Women’s Premier League (WPL) champions were Mumbai Indians. Mumbai Indians’ captain Harmanpreet Kaur described it as a “dream” when his team won the prized trophy at the Wankhede Stadium with a seven-wicket victory over Delhi Capitals.
