Pradosh Vrat Rituals and Puja
- Twilight—before dawn and sunset—is favorable on Pradosham. During this hour, all prayers and pujas occur.
- After bathing, worshippers prepare for the puja one hour before nightfall.
- Lord Shiva, Parvati, Ganesh, Kartik, and Nandi are worshipped in a preparatory puja. Lord Shiva is worshipped and summoned in a holy pot or ‘Kalasha’ thereafter. This water-filled Kalasha is on Darbha grass with lotus drawings.
